Today the Clocks...

Today the clocks on campus were nuts. I looked up at the clock in math at least 12 times...each time it was between 2:00 and 3:00, but the minute and second hand were moving together...at a speed twice too fast. Dr. Barrett then made a comment about how you need to hope that they fix the clocks in the testing center for our timed test, otherwise we'd have to take his watch, figure out the drag and then calculate what the real time is according to his watch and the clock on the wall. All I have to say is this...
SLOW DOWN!!!!! Smell the roses. (Except not really the roses because roses don't smell that pretty...) Lets just say, it's not worth it to take time and move it twice as fast as it needs to be, moving all your hands at the same time. Consistency is important, and time creates opportunity. Speeding it up just creates stress.
Such a great analogy. I'll be using that in my next Sunday School lesson. I rock.
